(CASIS), manager of the International Space Station (ISS) National Laboratory; NASA; and the American Astronautical Society (AAS).

Attend the only conference that covers R&D conducted in microgravity

  • Launch your research to
    new heights

This year’s event will feature dynamic keynote speakers, plenary presentations, technical sessions, workshops, and an investor session, among other engaging activities designed to highlight “Decade of Results” in space station science. Over the past ten years, CASIS has facilitated the launch hundreds of research investigations and technology demonstrations that show case how the ISS National Lab leverages the unique properties of microgravity to conduct valuable research, while helping advance the commercialization of low Earth orbit.

  • Transform your

At this year’s conference, hear from transformative science leaders in keynote sessions who will explore the future of space-based research and development, by discussing promising research areas, emerging technologies, and current results from ISS research. Subject matter expert workshops will connect thought leaders from outside the space industry with ISS researchers, service providers, and potential future ISS National Lab users to discuss potential new ways to utilize the orbiting lab. Additionally, a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education day will highlight ISS-related educational resources and activities of interest to students, parents, and educators.

  • Engage with industry

A marketplace expo will provide exhibitors with a truly unique opportunity to engage with participants through exposure to thousands of attendees, policy makers, and other thought leaders. Companies and partners supporting the ISS will have displays and demonstrations on site for discussion. Representatives will be available throughout the conference to talk with attendees about space-based research, services, capabilities, and opportunities available in low Earth orbit.

COVID-19 Update

While COVID-19 restrictions have eased, the pandemic is still a concern. To that end, CASIS is working closely with the Omni Shoreham team, as well as following guidelines from local public health authorities in the D.C. area, along with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to provide everyone a safe and successful environment at this year's in-person conference. Those efforts include frequent sanitizing of common area surfaces, meeting rooms and exhibit spaces. Attendees are also encouraged (but not required) to wear masks indoors and in high-traffic areas and to continue social distancing practices. As the event date approaches, please check here for the latest updates.
